We are at the win or go home point in the career of these seniors across the commonwealth. There will be a point in the not too distant future where we will stop featuring ’23’s to highlight the classes who will compete again next season in this seemingly endless merry-go-round. For now, let us bask in the glory of some of these ’23s, and specifically the ones who have battled so valiantly and performed so brilliantly. HB.

At Independence Bank we celebrate the uncelebrated sometimes and, curiously, no other position in football is more overlooked that the guy who gets assigned the placekicking duties. Much like a closer in baseball, the place kicker has it all on the line before his number is called oftentimes. Today we celebrate a player who has added placekicking to his regular duties on the Central football team. Enjoy this feature about this spectacular football player and see our friends and learn why Independence Bank‘s products, people, and services have started a revolution in the Kentucky banking industry. This guy here has to be an early favorite for the ’25 “Mr. Football” race. He’s good at races as a member of the Woodford County Track & Field team. We seem to cover him a ton; but then again, we do cover the studs and he is certainly that.

Logan County’s Senior LB is Leading his Cougars into Unchartered Territory Ryland Nichols is a freaking playmaker is what he is. Every time one turns around, the guy is making another play and usually in the offensive backfield. He had a fine night against, perhaps, the best team the Cougars […]

Okay, Central wanted to win Friday night and wanted to knot its regular season record at 5-5 instead of the 4-6 finish it has experienced. All of that is true. However, there is a component of “next year” in every football program and a constant forward progression which must occur. There are lots of things to which to look forward if you are a Storm-watcher. One of those is the brilliant and composed play of its very young, freshman QB and heir-apparent to the keys to a potent offensive attack. Enjoy the feature. HB.
