Talk about a young football player capable of Herculean feats, Braxton Laney is so accomplished he has now been awarded the Robertson County Player of the Week twice and he hasn’t enrolled in high school yet. Jordan Miles, though only currently in 7th grade, is certainly a name Madisonville area football fans want to begin to monitor. He’s already among the top of his graduating class, Kentucky-wide, as a football prospect and someone who may even garner early college offers. Regardless, he is the Independence Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week which is its own reward. Join us next week as we select a new recipient.

We got the privilege of coaching this kid when we were on the coaching staff of the East All-American team at the Bret Cooper Junior All-American Classic in Dallas, Texas two years ago. Michael D.
