His brother is Wilson Kelly who prepped at Boyle County where he was a consensus All-State player before matriculating to MTSU (Middle Tennessee State University) on a FBS football scholarship. Wilson is a first-team center for the Blue Raiders. Will little brother follow suit? You know what, I wouldn’t bet against it. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Middle Tennessee came through Kentucky and plucked Wilson Kelly from Boyle County from out of our ’20 class. All he did his first year in Murfreesboro was challenge for a spot in the starting lineup all season. Looks like that worked out well for the Blue Raiders. Well, now they are targeting Trevor Wilson from Covington Catholic. As this feature will demonstrate, targeting him is a good idea. MTSU won’t be the only team to think of it. Enjoy the feature. People around the Derby City felt slighted this prospect wasn’t in the top spot on the Kentucky 20 best DL, preseason list, published to Bluegrass Rivals yesterday. Whether he should have been can be argued either way. He certainly should have been on the list and he certainly was, coming in at No. 5. Regardless, Knifeley, who’s last name reminds us of one of our favorite lyrics from a song from one of our favorite all-time Rockers, is one whale of a prospect. Enjoy the article.
