First of all, we apologize for this article being so long. However, if you really have an interest in KHSAA football you should read it anyway. In this article we analyze 15-huge matchups. These are the critical matchups which will shape classification races as we embark on this 2026 season. We will be talking about these games plus some others come Saturday morning on “Friday Night Kentucky.” Thanks for your support.

We have a radio/podcast which is among the highest rated shows of its type across the commonwealth (Friday Night, Kentucky). Having a talent like, Scott Fitzgerald, to host the show with me is the real key to our success. When we convene this weekend, we will discuss some of these games and you will know whether I was right or wrong in my forecasts. Enjoy this “behind the scenes” look at the level of preparation it takes to produce the show you hear weekly.

We like the Aces to get back to Lexington this coming season and believe they will escape with the crown. We also believe programs like Beechwood, LCA, and Mayfield will have a bunch to say about it. Somerset is lurking around and are coming off a fine season with weaponry coming back from last season’s roster. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.
