Today we break down the 5A classification. Lots of people are going to pick Owensboro (Senior) and with good reason. They won it a year ago and, but for the loss of Evan Hampton, have a ton of talent returning. Of course, losing “Mr. Football” is kind of a big loss. We like Scott County. The Cardinals look to us to have it all. They have a lot of skills coming back, are very strong in the run game, and have one of the better athletes across the board playing in the KHSAA game today. They also have an amazing coaching staff loaded up with Hall of Fame types. Woodford County, Atherton, and Bowling Green will be heard from too and Pulaski and South Laurel better be watched. For those of you who actually follow this game, the name “Brady Hull” is not unfamiliar to you. Truth is, Hull has been considered among the very best trenchman since arriving in the 9th grade from a tremendously ballyhooed middle school career. The fact Hull has rounded into a high school star with dozens of D1 offers is a surprise to exactly no one. His senior year is upcoming and this offseason is critical for him to continue to develop into the type of player he wants and strives to be. This kid has very good length more than making up for his being on the slight side, size wise. Enjoy this look at the KHSAA’s top rated OL in the ’27 class.
