Slow Motion Replay: Noel Rash built a tremendous legacy at Beechwood @BeechwoodFB, @beechwood_tiger, @PikevilleHSFB, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @CentreFootball

Noah from the Bible’s Ark isn’t the only famous “Noah.” He wouldn’t be the first famous “Noel” either, which is slightly more germane. The biblical “Noah” is just the most renown, “Noah.” Our “Noel,” not to be confused with “Noah,”the one with the surname “Rash,” who was pretty obviously NOT named for the original “Noah” is pretty famous too. Noel Rash helped construct the Ark of powerhouse football being captained around the Northern Kentucky area and the KHSAA. Rash won 200-games and eight (8) titles run 17-years before riding off into the sunset. Rash is missed, but they were winning championships at Beechwood before him and they will win titles after him, as they have in fact done. Still, we should take a moment to recognize and remember a coach who did it as well as anyone has before or since. Enjoy this installment of our “Slow Motion Replay” series as we look back at Noel Rash.

Slow Motion Replay: The late Bob Schneider could orchestrate an attack and diagram a sentence with equal alacrity @TBredsFB, @NKyTribune, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @CountyMustangs, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball, @EddieEviston

We (perhaps) have never been any more excited nor anxious about this particular feature. You see, we are professional writers and are enamored with the overall craft of writing. Sure, Bob Schneider retired from coaching the KHSAA’s all-time wins leader, when he stepped aside in 2009. Sure, Bob Sneider was inducted into both the Norther KY HS Sports (1991) and the KHSAA (Dawhares) Halls of fame (2006). So why the anxiety? Well, because he taught English at Newport Central Catholic for 50-years. This would be a terrible time for splitting infinitives. Enjoy this look at one of the KHSAA’s all-timers and let’s pray my verb tenses remain consistent throughout each paragraph.

We like the Aces to get back to Lexington this coming season and believe they will escape with the crown. We also believe programs like Beechwood, LCA, and Mayfield will have a bunch to say about it. Somerset is lurking around and are coming off a fine season with weaponry coming back from last season’s roster. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.

Our guess…the preseason 2A Top-five (5), how we see it…@minguabeefjerky @kyhighs @HopkinsCentral @evans02_mike @_CoachManning @PrepSpin @1776Bank @KyHighFootball

We broke down 1A yesterday and promised to dissect 2A today. As promised, this is how we see it. This is the one classification where the team listed as No. 5 on our list could still win it all. These five (5) teams, for the reasons we state, are the best five in the classification. Enjoy the read. FL.

Sophomores have Tigers Barreling toward another Title. @ClayHayden7 @FlahertyChase @iamxcc34 @tigersontheair @rash_julie @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @kyhighs @HLPreps @MaxPreps

The Tigers chances of repeating as Champions seemed to take a hit when Mitchell Berger went down with season ending surgery. Programs like Beechwood reload, not rebuild. So the Tigers loaded a couple of sophomores in the backfield behind maybe the commonwealth’s elite offensive line and they are right back in the Semis challenging for the program’s third straight 2A title. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Hot Tip: If you are looking for stars who scream off the defensive edge, @beechwood_tiger and @Beechwood_FB would like you to meet @iamxcc34 (Xavier Campbell, Class of 2023)

This is one of those “How do they do it moments.” If you would like to take a moment to marvel at the brilliant coverage provided by KPGFootball, feel free to do so now. This is simply the reason we are able to command money for a subscription to this service and why many colleges let us scout Kentucky for them. Xavier Campbell will be a superstar in Kentucky High School football as soon as this coming season. He had an incredible season as a freshman and played significantly at DE for one of Kentucky’s premier programs. Enjoy the article and remember who told you about this guy first…the same service who tells you about EVERY GUY FIRST.

The Beechwood Tigers, reloading in 2019 for a new batch of quarry…

August 4, 2019 Henry Lyon 0

We thought it would be fun to look in on one of the Kings of Kentucky Football, the Beechwood High School Tigers. The boys from Fort Mitchell have put up both an enviable and unmatched record of sustained excellence which includes 3 State 1A football titles in a row (2016, 17, 18), one runner-up (2015), 5 Regional Titles and appearances in the Semis (2009, 10, 11, 12, and 14) and a regional runner-up in 2013. Over that decade the Tigers have averaged an 11-3 mark per season and won slightly over 78% of the games in which it has played. Needless to say, they don’t rebuild, they reload. How do they look in 2019? Well, let’s just see…Enjoy the article.
