Coach Atchley continues to add to his staff at Christian County as the two area high schools march toward consolidation. The new Colonel head man appears bent on bring back on staff coaches from the not too distant past who remember what a championship caliber program resembles. Getting back Greg Abren goes a way towards bring back the program’s swag. Friday Night Fletch.

Punters and Kickers are too often overlooked. When you have someone like Brain Baker punting and kicking for your high school team, you get to witness that one-third of the game really impact outcomes. Powell County and its new coach, Mike Jones, will be blessed to have one of Kentucky’s only 5-star, nationally ranked, high school players handling that aspect of the game in 2020. Enjoy the article.
