We thought we would head on over to the Derby City and catch up with one of our favorite RBs on one of our favorite teams. Parker Rudolph (’26) is a RB prospect who has the speed, power, and explosion (twitch) to play free or strong safety at the next level too. He can return kicks, punts, work the slot catching the ball, and use his backend separation speed and spacial quicks to gain a ton of after contact yardage. At Big Ass Fans, we reach out and impact all parts of Kentucky, large or small, wherever we are needed. Parker Rudolph is having a fine season particularly for a 1A RB on an undefeated, contending football team, so we thought we would honor him today. Like we have done in prior seasons, now the games are finally here, we will take the last week’s action and break it down and then look at the road ahead. We had a slight misstep on the road at Fort Campbell this past Friday night and return home to face one of the best 1A teams in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Kentucky Country Day from Louisville. Coach Atchley continues to add to his staff at Christian County as the two area high schools march toward consolidation. The new Colonel head man appears bent on bring back on staff coaches from the not too distant past who remember what a championship caliber program resembles. Punters and Kickers are too often overlooked. When you have someone like Brain Baker punting and kicking for your high school team, you get to witness that one-third of the game really impact outcomes. Powell County and its new coach, Mike Jones, will be blessed to have one of Kentucky’s only 5-star, nationally ranked, high school players handling that aspect of the game in 2020. Enjoy the article.
