These are the type of bells heard after being “rung-up” by Jabin Wedding. Jabin is back for his senior year and McLean has it rolling in Class 2A, District 2. We don’t know how the Henderson County Colonels will replace players like this week’s recipient, Meric-Dean Stinson. It is not everyday a team is fortunate enough to have a guy with Stinson’s heart and fight in the line-up. Make no mistake, Stinson was as responsible for the Colonels’s turn-around in 2018 as any other player on the team. No one works harder than Meric-Dean Stinson and efforts like his are worthy of recognition and celebration. That is exactly why he is being recognized this week by Kentucky’s fastest growing (and hardest working) financial institution, Independence Bank. Jordan Miles, though only currently in 7th grade, is certainly a name Madisonville area football fans want to begin to monitor. He’s already among the top of his graduating class, Kentucky-wide, as a football prospect and someone who may even garner early college offers.
