This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is Braden Mundy whose fine play advanced his team to a date with Murray High School in the Regional Finals with a birth in the Semis awaiting the victor. In a departure from our customary Revolutionary Player of the Week, we thought it would be cool to award a Player of the Year for 2019 from out of the areas serviced by Independence Bank, the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky. We can’t imagine a player who meant more to the offensive production of his team than this season’s recipient, Jeriah Hightower of Madisonville North-Hopkins. We will get back to designating players of the week next week, but for now, enjoy this article about a kid who really came through for his team for much longer than one week.
