Jake Morita is a weapon defensively at the second level of the Spartan defense. In addition to playing TE on offense, the 6’2, 205-pound junior mans a linebacker post and holds down a 4.2-GPA in a very ambitious and difficult college preparatory curriculum. Sayre had a big opener last night against a team which is defending at the 1A level and only returned three (3) starters, per side, from off its championship roster from a year ago.
