Kadence ‘KP’ Price will enter his final stanza one of the KHSAA’s elite players at his position @Cpbeast11, @All_American_Me, @price_kadence, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @LasatersCoffee

Kadence Price is a coach’s son who is also the premier player at his interior slot along the Maroon offensive front. Price doubles on defense and is a terror in limited snaps on that side of the ball too. Price will have a big offseason. The summer between your junior and senior years is when the interest for your next level services gets serious. It is all fun and games until now. Price will have a next level future and he is good enough to spend his next level at a variety of levels. He is a tad undersized for guard but perfectly sized to gain recruitment as a center and teams are always looking for those. Enjoy this look at this fine, all-state football player.

We continue on with our offseason coverage not really discussing players of the week so much as discussing featured players and prospects. Luis Ira is a ’26 left guard who was an unsung hero for his Laker ball club which experienced, under first year head football coach, Coby Lewis quite the remarkable turnaround. The Lakers went from winless in ’24 to six (6) wins in ’25 and proved a competitive spirit along the way. People around this program are excited about the strides it is making in a city (Murray, KY) getting known as a hotbed of football competitiveness on Kentucky’s western end. Enjoy the feature.

Storm Warning: If this is the ‘Swan Song’ on this serial article; it has been quite the ride…a look ahead! @HopkinsCentral @minguabeefjerky @840WHAS @PrepRedzone @KyHighFootball

January 1, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

We have had the privilege of covering the Hopkins County Central Storm for several seasons. We have reveled in the highs and commiserated through the lows. Through it all we have developed a deep appreciation and love for the Storm football program and all that it means to the citizens of Hopkins County, particularly Morton’s Gap. Morton’s Gap is a special place on a Friday Night as fans are treated to a Rockwellian, small-town, football experience. If this article has run its course, if it is over, then let the record reflect it has been our immense pleasure, our distinct honor.

Ladies and Gentlemen, we present you the Big Ass Fans, Large School, All-State Football Team

December 16, 2025 Fletcher Long 10

We will start out this all-state team with an admonition with which we begin every team we have ever published. We will miss on some guys. It is just important to note that your son not making our team doesn’t mean he wasn’t an all-state caliber player. Also, we expressly reserve the right to re-enter the team, even after it is published, and add worthy players who may have been missed or accidentally omitted. That being said, our small and large school All-State football teams, sponsored by Big Ass Fans, are the most expansive and complete teams in the business. This team here, and the coaches’s team published by the “Courier Journal,” are the only two legitimate teams in existence and we believe our team to be much more complete and legitimate than even theirs. Congratulations to the players who made the team and congratulations to the wonderful world of Kentucky high school football for providing us with the endless thrills and discussions we net from our following this, the greatest game on earth.

McNary is Kentucky’s consummate FB. He is the best player, Kentucky-wide, at a position under utilized in the modern game. He is a throw-back to a simpler, tougher time and he keeps the “Air Raid” attack grounded. Enjoy the feature. FL.

We are very pleased to welcome Lasaters Coffee & Tea to our growing family of advertisers. The Kelley family has a very long history in the local football industry and several of the Kelleys have had their numbers retired owing to their familial history of playing excellence. Football has been very good to their family and they look for ways to give back to this very special community. Lasaters is a place one goes to get caffeinated and motivated and couldn’t we all use a bit more of that invigoration in our daily routines. Get by one (1) of our four (4) Christian County, Kentucky locations and enjoy the roasted flavor of a hot cup of warmth and love.

John Paul Carrico, ’28 OL from Owensboro Catholic, is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @bigassfans @JohnPaulCarrico, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball, @SouthWarrenFB, @IamChaseBell15

You can’t coach height. You can’t coach length. There are measurements and characteristics or traits the Good Lord bequeaths you or doesn’t. Let’s just call John Paul Carrico amply blessed. Carrico is a ’28 lineman playing for an elite 2A program which seems yearly in the chase for a title. The Aces will entertain Beechwood’s Tigers and that is a tough draw for any team this late in November. Carrico is 6’8,” 295-pounds with an 80-inch reach and 35-inch arms. He also has anywhere from a 3.75 to a 4.0 GPA and his “dance card” is filling up fast. Enjoy this serial article awarding the Big Ass Fans “Kentucky Comfort Creator” to his long, tall, lengthy, and athletic lineman from Owensboro.
