Montavin Quisenberry, or “Q” as we call him around our offices, is the best football player in Kentucky’s ’25 graduating class. We have thought this for around three years, since back in his Garrard County days, and he has done nothing to dispel this belief. His night against Frederick Douglass, we felt, was jerky worthy. Can’t imagine anywhere in Kentucky apart from Frederick Douglass where an athlete which is framed out like Myles Moseley (’23) would be anything apart from the team’s main target in the downfield passing game. Yet, here is a 6’3″ and 170-pound WR/FS used primarily as a down-field stalk blocker catching only 4-footballs over a 15-game season. The graduation and matriculation onto the UK roster of ’22’s Dane Key should free up some targets for Moseley. We predict the Bronco faithful will wonder what took so long. HB.
