Christian Academy-Louisville opened with Pikeville High at home and won the game 45-7. That is nice and all but it wasn’t the most significant occurrence on the field on the night in question. In their “Fastest Man” challenge, Pikeville’s Mikey Hager achieved a speed of 20.7 MPH in chasing down CAL RB, Jeffrey Vanzzana, who was traipsing down the sideline toward a score at the time. The ability to run down plays the rest or the team has given up on catching is a very recruitable attribute for college third level defenders. Enjoy this look at a kid on everyone’s radar.
