There are good players all over the commonwealth. This is true of teams which enjoy success and it is equally true of teams and programs which tend to struggle. Dunbar High is coming off a 1-9 and is struggling a bit at the present time. That said, Elijah Lewis had a fantastic year. We are winding up our coverage of the ’25’s but didn’t want to drop these guys without reporting on a guy who stepped it up this year in tough circumstances. It would be hard to imagine a prospect at either WR or OLB in Kentucky’s ’22 class who more “looked the part” than Shyhiem Drew. At 6-5, 210-pounds with tons of athleticism and length, he certainly looks the part of a “big-time” football star and prospect. His performance, thus far, hasn’t been what one would expect but we believe his best football is ahead of him. A college will give him the opportunity to hone his skills, either on the hardwood or the gridiron, and if properly developed some lucky school will be getting quite a catch. Enjoy the feature. HB.
