The real difference between big time Kentucky football programs and just programs, particularly in football, are “The Bigs.” I was talking with a newly hired, 6A head football coach and I told him, no matter how many flashy skills you can muster the real difference in big-timers versus the imposters reside along the lines of scrimmage. Your Boyle Counties, your Covington Catholics, your Lexington Catholics, they seem able to develop and deploy quality linemen up and down the roster. Landon Robinson is a great example. This kid missed five (5) games of action owing to breaking his nose a season ago but was in the starting lineup when available. This guy has all the tools to be a really high priority target for college programs searching for quality linemen which its pretty much every, single year. Evan Pitzer has one of the better frames of any QB competing in the KHSAA. He also has his Colonels off to a fast start with wins, out of the gate, against Ryle and hated rival Ft. Thomas Highlands.
