The Tigers chances of repeating as Champions seemed to take a hit when Mitchell Berger went down with season ending surgery. Programs like Beechwood reload, not rebuild. So the Tigers loaded a couple of sophomores in the backfield behind maybe the commonwealth’s elite offensive line and they are right back in the Semis challenging for the program’s third straight 2A title.
