The Colonels limped through the non-conference slate emerging 0-2. They drew a tough assignment in having to travel to Memphis and battle a 2-0 Rhodes team riding a 3-0 win streak to include beating Birmingham Southern 20-3 back in November of 2022. Jack Gohmann drew the assignment and proved himself to be equal to the task. Enjoy the feature!
Centre escaped Hanover, Indiana with a win. That was about as positive as we can be about a performance which gives us plenty of mistakes to study and correct. Coaches say teams experience the most growth between the first and second games, particularly in college football. Colonel fans must “pray” that rings true or we may not be as lucky outcome wise as we were with the Panthers in Indiana. Enjoy the scout. HB.
