It is called the “Holy War.” Lexington Catholic versus Lexington Christian. It is one of the more anticipated rivalry games in the commonwealth of Kentucky. It is getting played tonight and we have taken an in-depth look at the matchup and the men who will play it. We will forecast a winner, then we will wait and see whether we were right or wrong. Well, it is time for us to pick the 3A classification and how it will “shake out” this coming Fall. We could take the coward’s way out and pick last year’s champion, Christian Academy-Louisville, to repeat. Instead, we took the coward’s way out and picked eight-time title holder, Belfry. Enjoy. Brady Wasik is a ’26 kid whose big brother was one Hell of a QB for the Knights over his career. Centre College, probably the most prestigious small college offer a Kentucky kid can possibly fetch, has taken the older Wasik (Jackson). Can the Colonels pick up a commitment from Brady too?
