Sage Dawson led his team to a 15-0 finish and a title playing among the more difficult schedules in the commonwealth. He threw four over 2,500-yards, 29-TDs through the air, and was only picked off 5-times. He was his District’s and Classification’s Player of the Year and made our Large School All-State Football team. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch

Hopkinsville’s Denarius “Red” Barnes (2020) is the Meeks & Meeks Montgomery County area Player of the Week

Red Barnes has been a favorite of ours since he transferred to HHS from Wonder Junior High in West Memphis, Arkansas to play his sophomore season. He is one of the best defensive linemen in the Class of 2020 and one of its leading citizens too. This is a kid who we believe is a college football player (no doubt) but isn’t likely to be positioned in college where the Tigers have deployed him. The fact he has thrived along an even defensive front, though undersized, buttresses everything good about his ability we have consistently maintained. This kid is a winner and a player who makes teams for which he plays better teams. Can’t complement any young player anymore than that. Enjoy the article.

Should this be of concern to the team located in Colorado Springs, Colorado? Check out this article as we check in with 2020’s top OLB/DE prospect and what, if anything, his pushing his announcement to the 18th means for the Air Force Academy, or any other school pressing for a commitment from this prospect.
