@Sahvonhines2 (’23) from @SrHighFootball is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank Player of the Week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a young defensive end coming off an incredible sophomore season who looks to become “the next big thing” on an Owensboro (Senior) High roster already loaded with big things. His name is Sahvon Hines and he is the premier player at the DE position in Kentucky’s 5A classification among ’23 prospects.

Hines’ Owensboro (Senior) High School in Owensboro, Kentucky is located right down the road from 3 Independence Bank branches. One is on 2425 Frederica Street. Another is on 2465 W. Parrish Avenue. The third is on 3228 KY-54.

Get on by and visit the most rapidly growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Independence Bank. Independence Bank has started a revolution in the banking industry.

We first reported on Sahvon Hines back when he was in middle school and made the Bret Cooper Junior Academic All-American team. We predicted he would be a terror off the edge for the Red Devils one day. Boy did we ever get that prediction right.

Hines showed everyone of what he was capable in the pandemic shortened ’20 season. He had 72-tackles, 6-TFLs, and lead the team with 4 QB-sacks.

Hines is 6-2 and weighs 250-pounds. He fires off low and hard and has a really quick burst out of his stance and into his pass rush. He was virtually unstoppable in ’20 and will only be a harder tide to stem in ’21 a year older, quicker, stronger, faster, more explosive, and more powerful.

He’s a former two-time, FBU Team Kentucky select member, made the USA national football team, and was an undergraduate All-Stater on our KPGFootball team. He’s highly decorated. His play matches well with his reputation.

Sahvon Hines will have a full dance card as he will start fielding offers from interested schools as early as this coming fall. It should be a fun courtship to cover. We will have it all for you right here!

Congratulations to Sahvon Hines for his Revolutionary Play for Owensboro (Senior) High which helped lead them to the 5A title game in ’20 and that which lies ahead this coming Fall in ’21. Owensboro (Senior) High School knows the team is at its best when Hines is screaming off the edge of the defense.

All of the above has earned Hines this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky. Get on by and support your friends at Independence Bank.
