There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank player of the week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.
Today we honor ’22 RB, Kylan (“Ky”) Galbreath, from Mayfield, Kentucky’s Mayfield High School.
Galbreath’s Mayfield High is very close to a very valued member of the Independence Bank family. There is a Mayfield branch of Independence Bank, well known in the industry as the branch on “Revolution Square” which is located at 100 East College Street right in Mayfield, Kentucky.
Galbreath was a both sides of the football contributor to Mayfield’s 12-2 mark in 2021. Mayfield, Kentucky is one of the few places on the globe which is likely to consider a 12-2 mark and losing in the semis an unsuccessful season.
Mayfield expects to win championships. Their teams come through for them repeatedly. Mayfield is among the winningest programs in America.
Galbreath led the team in scoring in ’21, putting 162-points up on the board. The ’22 “Super Senior,” who was selected to the WKC (Western Kentucky Conference) First -team this year, gained 1,660-yards on the ground with 24-TDs in 183-rushing attempts.
Galbreath caught 10-passes swinging out of the backfield. Three of the 10 were also scores.
Galbreath was a steady contributor on defense too. He was among the leaders in tackles for loss (TFL) and interceptions (INT).
Get on by the Revolution Square today and see our friends. Learn why Independence Bank‘s products, people, and services have started a revolution in the Kentucky banking industry.
We wanted to touch on the recent tornado. Darn few places were hit with as much devastation as the Mayfield community.
Independence Bank wants the community to know we stand prepared to help our friends and neighbors in every conceivable way as we regain our footing after this natural disaster. It will take tough people who are diligent and hard-nosed to show everyone the way back to everyday life.
We at Independence Bank thank the Good Lord all of our Graves County schools, and all its extra-curricular programs, have taught generations of residents the benefit of hard work, team work, and the benefits of relying on each other to come together as a community in order to achieve a common goal. We will be back in Mayfield, Kentucky!
In the meanwhile, congratulations to Kylan Galbreath for his Revolutionary Play which has earned him this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky…your friends at Independence Bank.
