Kainoa Olive from @MurrayTigers is the @1776Bank Revolutionary Player of the Week. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

There is no better time than the present to anoint another Independence Bank Player of the Week. Independence Bank is proud to sponsor a weekly article highlighting players in the areas where Independence Bank flourishes who embody the same type of revolutionary service to their respective football teams which has made Independence Bank unique and special in the banking industry.

Rowdy Sokolowski

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a player who has flown a little under the radar for a team which is performing much better than people thought possible preseason. This week we are honoring Kanoa Olive from Murray High School and his huge 4-TD performance against Ballard Memorial last week.

Kanoa Olive has proven quite efficient so far this season. Along with the Soikolowsis, the varsity stars have this Murray High team proving quite troublesome for district opponents with Caldwell and Mayfield both looming.

Olive’s Murray High School is located right down the road from a pair of Independence Bank branches. One of the branches is located at 507 North 12th Street in Murray and the other is on 721 South 12th Street. Get on by and visit the most rapidly growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Independence Bank. Independence Bank has started a revolution in the banking industry.

Kanoa Olive had an unbelievable night against the Bombers from Ballard Memorial. Olive carried it only six-times, gaining 106-yards from scrimmage on the night and scoring four (4)-rushing TDs over the course of his six opportunities.

Just a few weeks ago, when awarding this same distinction to the Sokolowski brothers, Kainoa Olive (’24) hit pay dirt every carry. That particular week Olive carried it three times, gained 89-yards, and scored 3-rushing TDs. Murray High School has built a juggernaut of a ground attack and have raced out to a record which has them climbing the AP, top-10 poll weekly.

Murray has Caldwell County next and that will pit two ranked teams. This will be a pivotal contest between the two and will allow Murray to take a measure of where it is as a team heading into a contest with “Mighty Mayfield.”

Congratulations to Kanoa Olive, both for his Revolutionary Play against the Ballard Memorial Bombers and that which is to come the remainder of the ’21 football season, all of which has earned Olive this week’s recognition from the fastest growing bank in the Commonwealth of Kentucky, your friends at Independence Bank.
