’24 OL made the Big-School All-State Football Team and is headed to become a Saluki
This guy first won this award in middle school in an article published in December of 2019. He won it again in high school in January of 2021. He has made our All-State Football team as a MS player and this year on the team on which we collaborated with Kentucky’s oldest, biggest, and most prestigious talk radio station. Yeah, he’s had plenty to celebrate. He has the perfect frame (6’5,” 300-pounds) and his game-play has been straight-DAWG.HB Lyon, Scouting Director, KPGFootball

Independence Bank has a goal of achieving everyday excellence, and this week we are focusing on a Owensboro Red Devil lineman who has not only won this award for the third (3rd) time; but, was selected to our News Radio 840 WHAS & KPGFootball Big School All-State Football Team (Class 4A, 5A, & 6A).
We are focusing on an offensive lineman who, going forward, figures to be as vitally important to the Southern Illinois Saluki football success as he was over his prep career in Owensboro, or even more so. Today we are focusing on Jak Lindsey from Owensboro, Kentucky.
Lindsey’s Owensboro (Senior) High School is located down the road from 3 Independence Bank branches on 2425 Frederica Street, 2465 W. Parrish Avenue, and 3228 KY-54, respectively. Get on by and visit the most rapidly growing bank in the commonwealth of Kentucky, Independence Bank. Independence Bank has started a revolution in the banking industry.
Lindsey is headed to Southern Illinois to play Division 1 (FCS) college football. Lindsey is 6’5,” weighs 300-pounds and helped lead his ball club to a very high threshold of success over his four years.
In ’23, Lindsey helped the Red Devils score 562-points, rush for 3,058 yards, and throw for 2,218-yards. The Red Devils scored 53-rushing TDs and another 23-passing TDs.
