Makers of the World's Finest Jerky Products

Davon “Smoke” Rudolph, ’24 from Ballard High, is bringing the SMOKE!

This guy is a OLB/Nickle candidate who brings a ton to the table for college recruiters. That is probably why this kid will be ranked among Kentucky’s elite when the final rankings of the ’24 graduating class gets published. Lots of schools are after this player and with very good reason.

Migua Beef Jerky uses Enviro-Pac CHU-2000 equipment to cook its meat to USDA required levels for both moist or dry operation. Mingua Beef Jerky wants you to become one of its many satisfied customers by sampling its quality hand sliced, all natural beef jerky. We know you’ll love it and come back for more, again and again.

Ronnie Mingua began experimenting with making beef jerky back in the 1990s. He shared his efforts with neighbors and friends, soon realizing he had come up with something different and superior to all other beef jerkies on the market. From these humble beginnings, Mingua Beef Jerky got its start.

…[S]omething different and superior to all other beef jerkies…

KPGFootball on the quality of Mingua’s product

Today, the Mingua Beef Jerky Company still prides itself on using its old-fashioned, all-natural recipes which offer outstanding products to customers across the nation. The recipes are a family tradition, passed down from generation to generation.

Our recipes and our quality ingredients, hand-cut from solid pieces of beef, are never chopped or formed like other brands, making our products superior and one of a kind. That would make our products similar to this week’s Protein-packed PerformerDavon Rudolph (Smoke) from Louisville, Kentucky’s Ballard High School, wouldn’t it?

If we chose to have a top nickname, all-Kentucky team, the “Smoke” would definitely be on it. When you see this kid play, it become clear how that nickname was derived for his use. He literally “smokes” opposing ball carriers and quarterbacks.

We made some history this year and I am proud to say I’m a BRUIN

Davon Rudolph “Smoke,” Ballard High. ’24

Ballard had quite a run in ’22. Ballard finished 11-3, smoked Madison Central in the regional championship game, and then narrowly lost (24-20) to traditional heavyweight Male High in the semi-state.

Davon Rudolph had quite a run himself in ’22. The junior OLB/Nickle had 76-tackles, 8-TFL’s, and four (4)-QB sacks.

Coming into his senior year, the 6′ 190-pound “Smoke-show” appears on everyone’s wish list. He has attended the US Army Bowl’s undergraduate combine, has made numerous visits to D-1, FBS level programs, and looks to have a big offseason ahead of him ramping up to his senior campaign.

This guy is not going to remain on the board too much longer. He will start fielding offers immediately and we can’t see him entering Ballard’s opener uncommitted.

As for the competition facing the Bruins in ’23, Rudolph has a message for you. “We [are] coming back for everything next year.” That just isn’t a bunch of smoke either.

We [are] coming back for everything next year

Davon Rudolph, Ballard High, Class of ’24

We have awarded this to Rudolph as we can’t fathom how any one student athlete could have possibly lent more value to any one team’s defensive efforts as “Smoke” did to the Bruins defense a year ago. On this basis, Mingua Beef Jerky and we decided this talented and accomplished ’24 OLB/Nickle could use a bolt of protein and a sweet T-shirt. The company volunteered to send that to him, straight away.

Join us next week as we return to honor another weekly prize winner. Until then, pop some Mingua Beef Jerky in your mouth and savor the quality and flavor which sets it apart from all the competition. Remember, our product is superior and one of a kind; just like Ballard High’s, Davon “Smoke” Rudolph.
