Giaonni Hunter has his team set for launch. The team is winning at the clip it would prefer but Hunter’s play has been a rallying point for the program and the community. Simply put, we can’t fathom a RB/LB in the ’25 class of Kentucky much more productive on both sides of the football than Hunter. Enjoy the feature. HB.

We have always said it is our people who make Independence Bank who and what we are. Janice Cleary is a person we are proud to claim at Independence Bank and so we thought we would honor her today in our feature of another person of whom we are enormously proud, Jordauyn White from Tilghman High. Enjoy this feature. HB.

The @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the Week is Kris Hughes from Union County. @1776Bank @PrepSpin @KrisHughes04 @Coach_JSimpson @PrepSpin @kyhighs @HLpreps @KyHighFootball @MaxPreps

Union County has really been a force with which to reckon over the past few seasons. It seems the Braves are in the title hunt in 3A, and in one of 3A’s toughest districts (District 1), annually. Having players like Kris Hughes certainly doesn’t hurt matters. You wait until you see what the young man did this past Friday night. Enjoy the feature and don’t forget to pick up a bag of your favorite Mingua Beef Jerky and #SavortheFlavor! HB.

He is a transfer from 4A Hopkinsville High School. With the struggles Hoptown has experienced with QB play, and with the efficiency this young ’25 QB has displayed, don’t you imagine the transfer of this particular player to Woodford County is all the more painful? Enjoy this look at a player whose candidacy for the ’25 graduating class’s “Mr. Football” award is looking all the more legitimate, week after week. HB.

Cade Sullivan, ‘The Berea Blast,’ may be the best athlete in the ’23 class… @1776Bank @minguabeefjerky @kyhighs @HLpreps @MaxPreps @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball @mshsfb_eagles @Mshs_Eagles_

We have followed Cade Sullivan since his being one of Kentucky’s finest coming out of its middle school ranks. He has been a superstar in HS too, just on a team which has struggled which impacts many players who find themselves so situated. This kid is drawing D-1 looks and has D-1 speed. We would call him an athlete. Read this article and let us know what you would call him. HB.

Centre’s Defense Saves the Day, Colonels push record to 3-1 with road win over Rhodes, Sewanee has ‘Next.’ @minguabeefjerky @1776Bank @CentreFootball

October 2, 2022 Henry Lyon 3

The Centre Colonels raised its record to 3-1 with a road loss to a very good Trine team its only blemish. Still, proponents of offensive football have to be concerned with how Centre is performing as the team just keeps imploding offensively. Can the defense continue to carry the ball club into the winner’s circle? Well, that is the $64 question, no isn’t it? HB.

Ethan Jarvis from Prestonsburg is the @minguabeefjerky Protein-packed Performer of the week. @BlackcatFB @nsporter13 @BarstoolBlackc1 @ejarvis_18 @1776Bank @KyHighFootball @PrepSpin @MaxPreps @kyhighs @HLpreps

Prestonsburg was really struggling just a few seasons back. They are struggling no more. The Blackcats are rolling with some of the best talent Floyd County has seen in some time. This week’s Protein-packed Performer is proving he may well be the very best RB in the Kentucky Appalachia mountains. Don’t forget to pick up a few bags of our one-of-a-kind beef jerky products whenever you can and wherever you happen to find yourself. Also don’t forget to #savortheflavor! Enjoy this feature. HB.
