Cameron Jessee is a baller for du Pont Manual High… @Cam_jessee @ttesLLC @duPontFootball @minguabeefjerky @kyhighs @HLpreps @1776Bank

Cameron Jessee is among Kentucky's best at several positions in the '25 class

Coming to the fore of KY HS football, Cameron Jessee isn’t waiting on anyone

What’s not to like about this TE/DE prospect? If you like them tall, with length, power, and explosion then this is your guy. His 3.88 GPA may be his most awe-inspiring statistic. Sky really is the limit here.

First of all, there is no misprint in the above title. It is “du Pont Manual High” and not “DuPont Manual High.”

In 1892, Louisville factory owner Alfred Victor du Pont donated $150,000 to the board of Louisville Public Schools to establish a training school to teach young men in the industrial arts or “manual” skills which would fit these young men for their most probable life duties (working for him, no doubt). The school has since evolved into more than Mr. duPont could have ever envisioned at the time of his initial generosity.

Now, duPont Manual provides a dynamic, interdisciplinary, diverse learning community that focuses on rigorous academic, technical, and artistic college-preparatory magnet programs. So much for the blue-collar production line it was started to bolster, huh?

Keith Towbridge

Cameron Jessee isn’t preparing himself to wok on anyone’s assembly line. If he keeps doing the things he’s doing, he will be the benefactor of tomorrow, and not the benefitted.

We think Cameron Jessee is among the better TE/DE’s around the commonwealth of Kentucky playing football in the ’25 graduating class. Do you know who agrees with us? No less than Keith Towbridge.

Towbridge works with TE’s in and around the Louisville area. He was a TE who played at the University of Louisville and later played in the National Football League for several different teams.

Towbridge has said about his protégé, “[Jessee] is a baller! [He’s a] hard hat and lunch pail guy you want on your ball club.”

Towbridge went on to extoll, “[Jessee] blocks DE/LB’s and then runs past defenders on his routes. He has strong hands and can get the job done at a very high level.”

Hey, who around Louisville, Kentucky would know any better than Keith Towbridge? His opinion carries significant weight with KPGFootball.

Jessee is coming off a sophomore season which saw him log action in 11 of the ball club’s 12-outings. du Pont Manual High used him on both sides of the football, something you don’t see often at the top of the 6A food chain.

Jessee has strong hands and can get the job done at a very high level.

Keith Towbridge, former NFL TE

Last season, the 6’3,” 215-pounder caught 11-balls, on offense, with a pair of receiving TD’s sprinkled amongst the other receptions. His receptions averaged a little over 17-yards per.

Defensively, Jessee logged a smattering of tackles (9). Believe it or not, we are of the opinion his defensive edge deployment is only going to increase. We could see this guy continuing to play both ways on through HS graduation.

Jessee has some really good numbers aside from his frame and on-field production. The kid clips off 40’s in 4.8-seconds and runs the pro agility shuttle (5-10-5) in 4.32-seconds. Jessee was first team, all-district as a sophomore and a kid we expect to get All-state discussion as his career continues to arc.

Perhaps most importantly, Jessee is a kid a school can offer without the first thought about whether he gets through the NCAA Clearinghouse. Jessee is holding down a 3.88-GPA fleshing through some of the more rigorous academic curriculum the commonwealth of Kentucky can muster at the public school level.

So, in the end, what are we telling you about this primetime End? Quite frankly, that he is splendid, that he is exceptional, that he represents the best and the brightest, that he is a superlative football player and athlete. In our assessment of Mr. Jessee, we are far from alone.
