Bondurant’s Zachary Ballard, Class of 2025, is a monster and will only get scarier

Got a message from a subscriber that we should be looking out for Zachary Ballard. Ballard just turned 12 approximately a month ago and has been described to us as a freak.

Now there are a lot of mothers out there who wouldn’t much take to their babies being described as “freaks.” In football, KPGFootball has known for some time that description is quite the compliment when it is used to describe a player, particularly one who plays along either of the lines of scrimmage.

If you know anything about football, and just look at the picture of Zach above standing beside his football coach, we wouldn’t have to tell you to watch out for the way in which this kid develops. We know you’ve heard the expression “…a picture is worth a thousand words.” Don’t know about a thousand, but the picture attached this this article tells us plenty.

Zack is 5-9 and weighs 190 pounds right now at age twelve. He has long arms, a high waist, is narrow at the shoulders on top of which sits a huge head. In other words, we don’t know how big mom and dad are, but this kid is on the verge of growing to gigantic proportions. He has a very large frame. Hell, look at his hands and feat compared to the grown man next to him.

Now Zach trains with “Hawglife” in Frankfurt, Kentucky and the training is beginning to net huge dividends. Zach has been timed at 5.96 in the 40-yard sprint for instance.

Zach Ballard and his family came to Frankfort from Anderson County. With the transition, Ballard got a late jump on middle school football once arriving to play for Bondurant Middle. That aside, Ballard went straight in the starting line-up last season for the 6th and 7th graders and got significant 8th grade run. He will be a 7th grader this coming season and figures to be firmly entrenched along the Bondurant lines of scrimmage for the MS varsity squad.

KPGFootball has been told Ballard plays guard on offense and end on defense. With his frame and movement, taken together with his before noted length, KPGFootball believes this kid is destined to play tackle should he play primarily on offense and DE should he remain on the defensive side of the ball. Oh well, that decision won’t be forced on Zach until he gets to college and, by the way, we see that in his forecast too.
