Price Aycock sure came to the rescue in all three phases a year ago for his Calloway County Laker football program. The 6’0″ 175-pound ’24 prospect showed he has the frame and skills to make the home folks very optimistic about the overall direction of the Lakers program. Ft. Thomas Highlands hasn’t been of late what we have grown accustomed to seeing from the Bluebird football program. However, they have young talent which will surely get them back to the top of the pile. Devon James is certainly among the more promising players the program boasts within the ’25 graduating class. Enjoy this look at one of Kentucky’s finest from the very finest in beef jerky from all across this mighty land of ours, the Mingua family. HB.

I remember a mother telling me when I was coaching that her son was a varsity football player. I told her, “Well Ma’am, he’s playing in a JV game in about a half-hour. If he’s a varsity guy he should stick out like a sore thumb in this JV game.” That is as fair of an indicator as I know. Well, I watched Pavey’s JV film and it appeared obvious to me Pavey is a varsity player. We believe he will show all of us this coming Fall. Enjoy the feature. HB.

LaRue County has one fine QB who has reclassified as a ’25 prospect and is framed out exactly like one wants to see a pro-style QB. Cutter Boley has a couple Power 5 offers know with several others circling. One has to figure he will pledge himself to UK when the ‘Cats offer. Enjoy the feature. HB.

Can’t imagine anywhere in Kentucky apart from Frederick Douglass where an athlete which is framed out like Myles Moseley (’23) would be anything apart from the team’s main target in the downfield passing game. Yet, here is a 6’3″ and 170-pound WR/FS used primarily as a down-field stalk blocker catching only 4-footballs over a 15-game season. The graduation and matriculation onto the UK roster of ’22’s Dane Key should free up some targets for Moseley. We predict the Bronco faithful will wonder what took so long. HB.
