There will be those who will tell you the newly consolidated “Tigers,” from Christian County High, will go as far next season as players like Tremayne Clay can lead them. Clay is a talent and one of five (5) former Hoptown Tigers to make the Big Ass Fans’s Large School, All-State Football Team. The newly consolidated school shouldn’t hurt for talent and the Tigers are amassing an array of coaching talent to “put the team through its paces” in its upcoming inaugural season. Regardless, Clay will be critical. Good thing he is also extremely talented. Enjoy this look at one of Hopkinsville, Kentucky more talented prep-level athletes brought to you by your friends and neighbors at the Bank of Cadiz.

Looking for a physical H-Back, LB, or ATH? Check out Elijah Little… @ElijahL_2k, @CoachHopperton, @trevorhoskins13, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

Elijah Little from Prestonsburg, Kentucky plays for Floyd Central. The Jaguars have been limping around 2A, district seven of late but Trevor Hoskins and company are looking to get that turned around in ’26. It is believe Little can advance that agenda substantially. Little is 6’0,” 200-pounds and completed some passes, averaged around six-yards a carry, was among the team’s leading receivers, was the 6th-leading scorer, was the leading tackler, and was tied for the lead in TFLs. That is a ton of production out of different slots occupied by just the one player. Little is thick, moves well, is aggressive, and physical. Your favorite college program may be searching for someone like that. We know where one may be found. If you read this article, you will also be armed with said knowledge. Enjoy the feature.

The ’30s are coming on the roster for the Fall 2026 season. They will be freshmen and some of them will start, many of them will playing meaningful, varsity snaps, many of them will contribute in tangible ways, and a few of them will round into immediate, HS stars. Bigs are hard to figure as some of these guys outgrow their athleticism and need a few years to recover. One guy who figures to be an immediate contributor, if not a starter is James “LJ” Smith, IV. He is 6’4,” 292-pounds, appears headed to Male High where he will play both basketball and football, and already has D-1s checking in on him. Enjoy this look at a young, KY phenom and let’s keep it comfortable out there Kentucky, brought to you by our friends at Big Ass Fans!

We call these the Seven-Eleven. We have identified seven small school players and 11-large school studs all of whom will move the needle considerably this coming Fall. These are the guys who, if they are ’27s, will be in the “Mr. Football” race, and if they are younger will be serious threats for post season accolades. These teams are the teams who will make deep playoff runs, if not win championships, next season too. Enjoy this look at the stars and players who will be drawing much of the ink as in-season coverage commences. Remember from where you first hear this.

Last season we thought we were going to have to start calling them the “Heartbreak Wildcats” if things didn’t start trending differently. Trigg County dropped consecutive, one-point defeats to the toughest of competition under very strange and almost lightening-striking-ish type situations. Still, the play the team was getting from its then-sophomore/rising junior QB was extraordinary. Cade Scott was and still is a superlatively good, three sport, varsity athlete who excels at FB (QB), basketball (SG), and baseball (OF/LHP). He completed nearly 75% of his passing attempts and consistently put the offense in situations where it should and, often did, thrive. Enjoy this feature on this wonderfully gifted and talented young football star.
