The Kelleys have generously bought some tickets, at $10 per, for worthy high school kids in need of support to get to see the last game the Hoptown Tigers will ever play in Hopkinsville, KY. When we say “some tickets,” we’re talking 500 of them. For all the years I have known this couple and Steven in particular (51-years), that is just “The Kelleys.” Kind, faithful, Christian, generous; who would have thought I would come to admire so steadfastly the six year old kid who mowed me down at home plate in a pee-wee league, underhand pitch, baseball game in 1974.
