I know it seems this particular feature has promoted quite a few Sayre Spartans. We can assure you it isn’t intended. It is just hard to ignore a program which has just polished off a perfect regular season at 10-0 headed into the Class A KHSAA playoffs. Why is that so hard to ignore? How about because there are only seven (7) such records among the 223-programs playing football across the commonwealth and Sayre is the only perfect regular season in its classification.
