Sylas Gunn has been among the more impressive athletes to compete in Western Kentucky sports in several years. The QB, SS, FS prospect can play baseball, basketball, football, and run track. For all we know, he may take up dressage and gymnastics next. This guy is poise to have a huge season upcoming. We will be pleased to monitor it. Friday Night Fletch.

Not all future stars got varsity run the year prior. This is even more true of young guys on 5A finalists who were, themselves, freshmen. We have young Carson Clark to feature today. Jacob Taylor is one of two “Taylors” on the Flyers’ roster. The Flyers, under Head Coach, Eddie James, has been among the more stocked and successful rosters at the 4A level of play. Jacob prefers to go by “Coen” and the 5’8,” 165-pounder carries a 4.0-GPA a believes in hear over height. His 45-receptions a year ago indicate his play backs up his hashtags rather well. Sometimes a player’s maturation lags behind the player’s frame. This is often true of young bigs who take some time to agile their way into their incredibly large, tall, and long frames. Peyton Collins has a frame which commands respect. With his nearly 7-foot wingspan, 6’7″ of height, and 280-pounds of heft, this guy figures to be among the more recruited linemen in the ’26 graduating class before all is said and done.
