While we’re in Paris, Kentucky (@BourbonFootball) why don’t we check in with @ParkerEstes9 from @bourbon_high?

We felt like a two for Tuesday since we are coving Bourbon County Football today. What the heck, right?

The guy getting the looks around Paris, Kentucky, especially on the Bourbon County High School football roster is TE/Slot Estes Parker. Parker, who wears number 10 in football and number 9 in basketball is reported a captain for both teams.

This tall, rangy, and separation-fast slot/WR, who projects in college to play TE, has highlights, working against some of the best competition the KHSAA can muster which will firmly clarify why he’s garnering so much attention. We will link them here so you can see for yourself.

Estes had a solid year in 2019, catching 18-passes for 206-receiving yards in an offense which switched pilots mid-season. This doesn’t tell the entire tale as to the prowess of this particular player.

We were able to catch up with head coach, Dave Jones, just today and interviewed him for this piece. Jones told us, “Parker is a leader both on and off the field, a great team player. He is a coach’s player. What I mean is he lives in the weight room, is very smart (3.86 GPA), and acts like he’s 22-years old.”

Jones went on to mention the kid is a two-sport athlete in both varsity basketball and football. We dug around and came up with his being a captain for both squads on our own.

If you are wondering whether this tall, rangy, target has any dog in him, go play his basketball highlights and watch him clean the glass. Rebounders in basketball = dog in football! It’s an easy formula.

There are lots of D-Is recruiting this prospect from Richmond, Kentucky (EKU) clear to Colorado Springs, CO (Air Force Academy). When they get a load of the upcoming year we believe he is certain to have, especially with a QB with more experience under his belt than when he was forced into action in 2019, there will be plenty more suitors on this prospect’s dance card.
