We lost a heartbreaker yesterday to a team to which we hate to lose. We probably don’t have a sterner rival in the conference than Berry College. Still, Centre doesn’t have time to mourn a tough loss. The trip to Conway, Arkansas is on the immediate horizon and we still hold our own destiny in our hands as we will explain in this article. Centre escaped Hanover, Indiana with a win. That was about as positive as we can be about a performance which gives us plenty of mistakes to study and correct. Coaches say teams experience the most growth between the first and second games, particularly in college football. Colonel fans must “pray” that rings true or we may not be as lucky outcome wise as we were with the Panthers in Indiana. Enjoy the scout. HB.
