There will be those who will tell you the newly consolidated “Tigers,” from Christian County High, will go as far next season as players like Tremayne Clay can lead them. Clay is a talent and one of five (5) former Hoptown Tigers to make the Big Ass Fans’s Large School, All-State Football Team. The newly consolidated school shouldn’t hurt for talent and the Tigers are amassing an array of coaching talent to “put the team through its paces” in its upcoming inaugural season. Regardless, Clay will be critical. Good thing he is also extremely talented. Enjoy this look at one of Hopkinsville, Kentucky more talented prep-level athletes brought to you by your friends and neighbors at the Bank of Cadiz.

Looking for a physical H-Back, LB, or ATH? Check out Elijah Little… @ElijahL_2k, @CoachHopperton, @trevorhoskins13, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

March 7, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Elijah Little from Prestonsburg, Kentucky plays for Floyd Central. The Jaguars have been limping around 2A, district seven of late but Trevor Hoskins and company are looking to get that turned around in ’26. It is believe Little can advance that agenda substantially. Little is 6’0,” 200-pounds and completed some passes, averaged around six-yards a carry, was among the team’s leading receivers, was the 6th-leading scorer, was the leading tackler, and was tied for the lead in TFLs. That is a ton of production out of different slots occupied by just the one player. Little is thick, moves well, is aggressive, and physical. Your favorite college program may be searching for someone like that. We know where one may be found. If you read this article, you will also be armed with said knowledge. Enjoy the feature.

The ’30s are coming on the roster for the Fall 2026 season. They will be freshmen and some of them will start, many of them will playing meaningful, varsity snaps, many of them will contribute in tangible ways, and a few of them will round into immediate, HS stars. Bigs are hard to figure as some of these guys outgrow their athleticism and need a few years to recover. One guy who figures to be an immediate contributor, if not a starter is James “LJ” Smith, IV. He is 6’4,” 292-pounds, appears headed to Male High where he will play both basketball and football, and already has D-1s checking in on him. Last season we thought we were going to have to start calling them the “Heartbreak Wildcats” if things didn’t start trending differently. Trigg County dropped consecutive, one-point defeats to the toughest of competition under very strange and almost lightening-striking-ish type situations. Still, the play the team was getting from its then-sophomore/rising junior QB was extraordinary. Cade Scott was and still is a superlatively good, three sport, varsity athlete who excels at FB (QB), basketball (SG), and baseball (OF/LHP). He completed nearly 75% of his passing attempts and consistently put the offense in situations where it should and, often did, thrive. Enjoy this feature on this wonderfully gifted and talented young football star.

Drew Anderson from Somerset High the best corner in @khsaafootball’s ’29 graduating class. Period! @DrewAnderson118, @BJNFBALL, @ClayClevenger, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

February 28, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Drew Anderson is among the best ’29’s in the commonwealth of Kentucky. Matter of fact, Prep RedZone has the 5’9,” 170-pounder as the top corner in his class and the 10th highest regarded prospect overall. These guys are a nationally read and recognized as evaluators of football playing talent. This is an opinion which matters, unlike the scads and scores of other opinions you see proffered from individuals not in the business but pretending to be. Our opinion also matters. We believe Drew Anderson is easily among the better corners in his class and has every right to be considered top in his graduating class at that post. To know whether a prospect is or isn’t among the commonwealth’s best, one must first know what else is out there. Today, we will demonstrate for you the qualities, skills, and production which makes Anderson among the leading corners in his graduating class throughout the commonwealth of Kentucky. Enjoy the feature, start taking notes now.

Is Elkhorn’s Preston Schaffer the best RB in the @khsaafootball’s ’30 class? @PrestonSch48255, @Aspirationsgym, @JaylenGarnett24,@bigassfans, @KyHighFootball, @ChiefSmoke10, @FCFlyerFootball, @FLYERATHLETICS

February 26, 2026 Fletcher Long 0

Every year there is plenty of talk about some rising 9th grade being the best player at his position entering the high school game. Most of that talk is speculative and said by people who really don’t have a clue about football played outside their respective counties. We are an entirely different matter as we have reported on and followed the KYMSFA for over a decade. When we say an 8th grader, rising 9th grader, is special and will be hard to sit when the season arrives, you should listen to us. We know about what we are talking. Preston Schaffer is such a kid and such a RB. Eddie James is slobbering to get this kid in a uniform and on a playing field. Enjoy the feature.
