The @BigAssFans, Small School (1A, 2A, & 3A) All-State Football Team

We will start out this all-state team with an admonition with which we begin every team we have ever published. We will miss on some guys. It is just important to note that your son not making out team doesn’t mean he wasn’t an all-state caliber player. Also, we expressly reserve the right to re-enter the team, even after it is published, and add worthy players who may have been missed or accidentally omitted. That being said, our small and large school All-State football teams, sponsored by Big Ass Fans, are the most expansive and complete teams in the business. This team here, and the coaches’s team published by the Courier Journal, are the only two legitimate teams in existence and we believe our team to be much more complete and legitimate than even theirs. Congratulations to the players who made the team and congratulations to the wonderful world of Kentucky high school football for providing us with the endless thrills and discussions we net from our following this, the greatest game on earth.

Friday Night Fletch.

Well, it is time for us to pick the 3A classification and how it will “shake out” this coming Fall. We could take the coward’s way out and pick last year’s champion, Christian Academy-Louisville, to repeat. Instead, we took the coward’s way out and picked eight-time title holder, Belfry. Enjoy. Friday Night Fletch.

Landon Yoak was one of Kentucky’s leaders in yards gained rushing from scrimmage a season ago. He was only a sophomore and helped lead his team to a 9-3 finish and near upset of Bell County, a 3A finalist, in the regional championship game. The Raiders lost 38-36 in overtime. Well Tim Champlin’s team looks to be loaded and ready for an even deeper run. Having the Yoak kid back for his junior season, at the pace he is setting, will be HUGE. Enjoy this feature and and don’t forget to #SavorTheFlavor. Friday Night Fletch.
