We are very pleased to welcome Lasaters Coffee & Tea to our growing family of advertisers. The Kelley family has a very long history in the local football industry and several of the Kelleys have had their numbers retired owing to their familial history of playing excellence. Football has been very good to their family and they look for ways to give back to this very special community. Lasaters is a place one goes to get caffeinated and motivated and couldn’t we all use a bit more of that invigoration in our daily routines. Get by one (1) of our four (4) Christian County, Kentucky locations and enjoy the roasted flavor of a hot cup of warmth and love.

Friday Night Fletch.

Slow Motion Replay, Series Article No. 50: The near misses, the guys who would likely have been HOFers if they hadn’t moved on to something else @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @LCAEAGLESFB, @mercer_football, @CentreFootball, @HighlandsFB

We all know Phillip Haywood and Dudley Hilton are the two winningest football coaches in the KHSAA history. Haywood at 491 will be tough to catch but Hilton is 30 or so behind him and he’s still going strong. What about the guys who shone like bright, shining stars then moved on to “greener pastures.” Could some of those guys have been “the best?” Perhaps. If there is a short-timer who could be considered, we believe he may be in this particular grouping of three. Enjoy this feature.

He was lovingly referred to, throughout Kentucky, as “Poppa Joe.” He was also called the “Bear Bryant” of Kentucky High School football. Joe Jaggers, the patiarch of the first family of Kentucky High School football, died at the age of 81 in 2022. Jaggers was a 1958 graduate of Caldwell County High and a 1963 graduate of WKU where he played both football and golf. Jaggers was inducted into the Dawahare, KHSAA Hall of Fame in 1993. Enjoy this look back into the past at one of Kentucky’s all-time greats.

Khalil White promises sunnier skies are on the Lincoln County horizon @khalilwhiteee @KyHighFootball @KYEXPOSURE @12thSports @LCFB_Recruiting

Khalil White is a ’25 DE/TE with the frame colleges like to see. He is 6’3,” 200-pounds with plenty of length and the frame to add quite a bit of “good weight” this offseason. White has seen most of his action of defense but that could well change over the course of his senior season depending on what the Patriots need. Enjoy the feature. Friday Night Fletch.

So you can’t remember the last time Ft. Knox was a contender in 1A football? Remember the late Joe Jaggers? Coach Jaggers was at the helm for 14-years and won three (3) of his five (5) titles at the school between 1977-1990. Reques Wrenn and his teammates are interested in leading Coach Wes Arnold’s troops back to that Promised Land. Enjoy the feature. FL.
