Will Stickdorn stick at QB for Bullitt East? @GarrettSticky1, @BE_Chargers, @drew_toennies, @BECoachKendrick, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @eCampusdotcom, @bigassfans

The Chargers are not too many years removed from winning a 6A title (2022) in football. Bullitt East didn’t contend in ’25 (7-5) but it isn’t like they were a bad ball club either. The Chargers beat Fern Creek (Lou.) and North Hardin (Elizabethtown) while dropping games to Boyle and Franklin Counties, Manual, Male, and St. Xavier (the last three among the toughest opponents the Derby City can muster in its 6A classification). The Chargers are going to need consistent and reliable QB play in 2026 and we believe we know where they might find that and more. Enjoy this feature.

Can Peyton Duckwall seize the reigns and lead his Chargers back to glory? @QBPeytonDuck, @KHSAAFootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom, @BECoachKendrick

Among the harder things to forecast is which freshmen and sophomores across the commonwealth look poised to come on the varsity roster and replace some of the huge talents crossing the graduation stage the prior spring. Let’s face it, some of these guys are just dark hard to replace. Bullitt East is graduating its starting QB, Cole Cornell. Who will step into those shoes for the 6A, District 4, seven (7) game winners? Will it be junior, Garrett Stickdorn, sophomore, Jack Pope, or freshman, Peyton Duckwall? At the end of the day, any guess we could make would be speculative. That won’t stop us from guessing. We are in the speculation business. Enjoy a look at a young player who has plenty of skills and tools to be “the guy” when the first snap comes around in the Fall of 2026.
