Here is a guy who helped lead the best high school defensive ball club many experts believe to have ever played on a high school football field in Kentucky history. He is committed to play collegiately for the Centre Colonels. Of course, he is also our Independence Bank’s Revolutionary Player of the Week. Join us again next week as we recognize another worthy recipient.

Here is something right amazing, almost exactly a year ago, December 29, 2019 to be exact, we featured then 8th-grade All American Jak Lindsey from Owensboro MIddle School. Well, a lot has happed since last year, like his starting in the 5A championship game for Owensboro High School as only a 9th-grader (man, we called this one) but he is still a super-star player, nonetheless. Enjoy the article. HB.

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is a top-flight, 2021 dual threat QB prospect who led the Purples to the 5A State Title, last weekend when Bowling Green tussled with the always tough bunch from Owensboro Senior High. This feature is brought to you weekly by the folks over at Independence Bank. Go on by and see our friends and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding services and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry.

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is Andrew Lanz (2023), one of Kentucky’s top place-kickers in the high school game. We pride ourselves on performance and, to render an exceptional performance, no one knows better than Independence Bank that competitors have to fuss over both the important things, obvious to everybody, and the less obvious things most casual fans overlook. That is how competitors become champions. Saturday, two teams with strong Independence Bank branches (Bowling Green and Owensboro) will battle for the 5A crown. Go on by one of those branches in either town and see our friends at your local Independence Bank. Thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry. Enjoy the article. HB.

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is Justin Millay, one of Kentucky’s top OT in the commonwealth. We love “The Bigs” around Independence Bank and KPGFootball and recognize this is where championship football teams are built. His fine play has advanced his team to a home, semifinal date with Frederick Douglass High School in the Semi-Finals with a birth in the Championship awaiting the winner. Go on by and see our friends at your local Independence Bank and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry. Our only regret…we are out of opportunities to award @AndrewMunster from McLean County the @1776Bank “Revolutionary Player of the Week” more than this last time. @minguabeefjerky @PrepSpin @KyHighFootball

This week’s “Revolutionary Player of the Week” is Andrew Munster who saw his career end in the first round but who has been a four-time recipient of this award. Munster is out of eligibility (high-school wise) which we believe to be cause for mourning around McLean County. Go on by and see our friends at your local Independence Bank and thank them, not just for this series, but for the outstanding service and products which have started a revolution in the banking industry. Middle Schoolers got the “bright lights” of center stage this week owing to the KHSAA being off a week. While garnering the spotlight, some of the Junior High guys really took advantage. One of those was this week’s Revolutionary Player of the Week. Murray High may have a backfield full of the hardest names to spell in all of football. You virtually need a doctorate to even attempt to spell Rowdy Sokolowski, Brendon Dahncke, or Charvelle McCallister. This week’s recipient, Brendon Dahncke, had a particularly good game in one of his team’s more important games of the year, against cross-town, 4A, District 1 heavyweight, Calloway County. It was a battle for supremacy in the city of Murray and the county of Calloway and Dahncke led his team to the winner’s circle. Enjoy this article about one of Kentucky’s hardest working 2021 backfield “grinders,” Brendon Dahncke, from your friends at the fastest growing bank in Kentucky, Independence Bank.
