We have been going around and congratulating some of our advertisers who helped promote some of these kids right on the small or large school all-state football team. Yesterday, we congratulated some kids who made both the Bank of Cadiz award list and one of the two teams and today we do similarly for Lasaters Coffee. The truth is we have some wonderful sponsors among our family of advertisers and many of these companies know a quality player who seeing one. The Bank of Cadiz is very proud of its former in-season, Players of the Week who also made one of Kentucky’s more prestigious All-State Football teams. The Big Ass Fans team, which has a small school and large school component is the most thorough and well defended all state football team in the KHSAA. This validates our PoW selections. Aiden Jesse comes from a Hopkinsville family which knows a thing or two about the receiver position. Father, Maurice, was a star WR in his day playing for the Hoptown Tigers. Son, Reece Jesse, set several all-time, receiving records in his day out wide for the Tigers. Little brother, Aiden Jesse, has been a terror and a star for the last edition of the Hoptown Tigers football team to ever take a playing field. You boys will be missed, know that! We just couldn’t say goodbye without one final tip of the hat to what was an incredible performance by Aiden Reece in the second round of the 6A, KHSAA football playoffs and the last game of football the Hoptown Tigers will ever play. Well done, young man.

Triston “TK” Kay has had quite the career at Hoptown as a performer the Tigers could turn to for production whether on offense, defense, or special teams. He enters his senior year among the most versatile performers in all of the KHSAA. His head football coach swears he is among the best 50-players in all of Kentucky.
