The KHSAA has a budding star on the horizon playing 5A football; Evan Williams, from South Oldham, is a freshman rising to the top of his class #Kentuckys #fletcherwlong #LeadershipLegacy #CoachingExcellence #MentorshipMatters #characterbuilding #SportsLeadership #BuildingChampions #kentuckyfootball #highschoolfootball #DisciplineAndDedication #athletics #successmindset #bookstagram #booklovers #fletcherlongauthor @KHSAAMain, @KHSAAFootball, @CoachBMeredith, @Evan3Williams, @bigassfans, @eCampusdotcom

Not a ton of freshmen get PT on Friday night playing Kentucky 5A football. There aren’t a ton of freshmen who are 6’3,” with 6’4″ wingspans, 10.1-inch hands and who complete 69% of their passing attempts (56/81) for 569-yards, three (3) TDs, through only six (6) games. Yessir, the number is fairly scant. Evan Williams at South Oldham is doing all of the above and he is under the tutelage of one of the better QB-coaches around the commonwealth. The sky is the limit for this kid if he continues to work hard, and develop along the arc he has so far.

Today we break down the 5A classification. Lots of people are going to pick Owensboro (Senior) and with good reason. They won it a year ago and, but for the loss of Evan Hampton, have a ton of talent returning. Of course, losing “Mr. Football” is kind of a big loss. We like Scott County. The Cardinals look to us to have it all. They have a lot of skills coming back, are very strong in the run game, and have one of the better athletes across the board playing in the KHSAA game today. They also have an amazing coaching staff loaded up with Hall of Fame types. Woodford County, Atherton, and Bowling Green will be heard from too and Pulaski and South Laurel better be watched. Enjoy the article.

We are very pleased to welcome Lasaters Coffee & Tea to our growing family of advertisers. The Kelley family has a very long history in the local football industry and several of the Kelleys have had their numbers retired owing to their familial history of playing excellence. Football has been very good to their family and they look for ways to give back to this very special community. Lasaters is a place one goes to get caffeinated and motivated and couldn’t we all use a bit more of that invigoration in our daily routines. Get by one (1) of our four (4) Christian County, Kentucky locations and enjoy the roasted flavor of a hot cup of warmth and love. Lasaters, where you aren’t just served; you’re loved.
