Kaleb Miller (’26 RB) from Bell County is the Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @KalebMiller022, @BoysGirls13th, @DanielThomas_4, @BellCountyFB, @bigassfans

September 5, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

There is something in the water around Bell County which makes 5’9,” 205-pound RBs who run for a bigilloin yards grow on trees. Remember Daniel Thomas who won the coveted “Mr. Football” Award a few years ago? Coach Hilton has him another tough as nails, unassuming looking thoroughbred, running rough-shod over defenses again in ’25. His name is Kaleb Miller, he is 5’9,” 205-pound RB who gained 2,100 yards as a junior and was selected to the All-State, first team. Miller is at it again, as he already is averaging over 155-yards a game through his first two and leading the ball club with 34-points comprised of five (5) rushing TDs and a pair of two-pointers. Bell County is off to a fast start and has played (already) two of the more talented teams it will face this year on the road at Campbellsville and on the road at Perry County Central, winning both. Enjoy this feature.

Gavin Johnson from Hazard, Kentucky is the Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @Gjohnson1418, @coach_chandler @LasatersCoffee, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball

August 14, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

This is a super freak athlete from the Appalachia mountains. His father, an attorney in Hazard, Kentucky, told us his vertical is slightly over 43-inches and that Gavin won’t stop till it tops 45. What that means is his reported 40-time of 4.58-seconds isn’t even close. Johnson is much, much faster than that! This kid is really a physical specimen and should be firmly in the “Mr. Football” race his senior year in spite of his playing 1A football. We have said this many times. There are good teams and bad teams in the KHSAA and they span all six (6) of Kentucky’s classifications. Enjoy this feature and let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky. Allow us to help you out in that regard as we tell you the story of Gavin Johnson from Hazard, KY.

Miles Hollon from Breathitt High is the Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @Qb1miles4, @Eli_thomas11, @LasatersCoffee, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball,

July 25, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Miles Hollon is a rare commodity among ’28 QBs. While many of them are selling “potential,” he’s selling production. How many QBs throw for close to 2,000 yards with 21-thrown TDs as freshmen? You can count them on less than a single hand. Hollon’s frame and growth potential are big pluses for him as he is our Big Ass Fans, Kentucky Comfort Creator this week. Let’s keep it cool out there KY.

Chase Bell (’28 QB) from South Warren is this week’s Kentucky Comfort Creator from @bigassfans @minguabeefjerky, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball, @SouthWarrenFB, @IamChaseBell15

July 11, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Chase Bell and Camden Page look to battle it out preseason for the QB-slot at South Warren vacated by Bryce Button’s graduation. South Warren is coming off a 12-2 season where it was arguably the second best team in 5A in ’24. Where will they figure into the 6A title chase? Well, we don’t know. We would suppose they will go as far as either Page or Bell carries them. Chase Bell is a ’28 guy with an incredible frame and athleticism so impressive Maryland has already offered. Bell’s frame and growth potential are carrying the day for him as he is our Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator this week. Let’s keep it cool out there KY.

Christian Shackelford from Lexington Christian Academy is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator or the Week @ChristianDShac1, @_Jakeryan63, @maja_brown19, @LCAEAGLESFB, @CoachDCharles, @Oakley_Watkins

June 27, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Christian Shackelford is built exactly like the “big boys” want to see him. He’s 6’7,” 290-pounds and sports a 3.8-GPA. Shackelford got six (6) games of run over his sophomore season and that isn’t too bad considering LCA had the most senior laden group of trench men in the KHSAA a year ago at any level of competition. There will be plenty of competition to fill some of these holes in ’25 resulting from the Spring ’24 commencement ceremonies. Enjoy this look at a ’27 who seems destined to grow into one of his graduating class’s very best offensive linemen before it is said and done. Let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky, and allow us to help you out in that regard.

Brayden Fultz is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week and looks like a big-league center to us @brayden_fultz36, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @minguabeefjerky, @bigassfans, @NLJAGSFOOTBALL

June 20, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Brayden Fultz is a player who reports quite a bit of versatility, particularly on the Kentucky 5A level. Fultz reports playing guard, DE, DT, MLB, and FB. Of these positions we like him best at either guard, where he reports playing, and offensive center, where we think he should get a long look. We have talked to some recruiters who have asked us about him. At 6’0,” 290 with a 315-pound bench press, a quarter ton back squat (505), and a 255-pound power clean, this kid has the strength, power, and explosion programs covet at the center slot. The thing about offensive centers, they are in huge demand. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky!

Kam Wells, ’29 NG/OG, from Christian County High is the Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @CoachAtchley, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @ColonelFootball,

May 30, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Kam Wells is a beast whose frame can virtually finish anywhere. He is strong as a bull, wins the leverage game against about anyone, has tremendous leg kick and explosion, and elite strength and power. Wells will likely have to be deployed “both ways” this coming Fall even though he will be a freshman. We have seen freshmen start at really good programs and acquit themselves very, very well. What will Wells do? We would be surprised if he did anything less than dominate many of his mirrors over the course of his initial campaign. Enjoy this feature about a kid whose performance made the unbearable heat a tad more bearable and who hopes his performance brings comfort to the home fans around Christian County, KY this upcoming Fall. Let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky, and allow us to help you out in that regard.

Zai’Vion Meads from Central High (Lou.) is the @bigassfans Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week and Ziggy tells opponents what you see is what you get @Tmalone0, @Aspirationsgym, @CoachDantzler, @Ziggy41_, @minguabeefjerky, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball

May 16, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Zai’Vion Meads has been working out with Aspirations Gym this offseason. Aspirations Gym proprietor, Chris Vaughn, has been working out Louisville’s elite athletes for a long time, as long as we have been covering this sport. Vaugh has Meads “looking right.” Meads has exploded the myth the camera adds weight as he looks good live, or on film. Today, we award this prestigious, weekly distinction to one of the Derby City’s better DL prospects playing for one of Louisville’s deeper and most talented rosters. Enjoy the feature and let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky!

Donavan Smith, ’27 LB, from Knox County Central High is the Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week @bigassfans, @minguabeefjerky, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball, @donavon_smith42, @KnoxCentralFB, @CoachMillsKCHS

May 2, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

Donavon Smith from Barbourville, Kentucky is among the very best the ’27 graduating class has at the LB position anywhere on the eastern end of the commonwealth of Kentucky. Smith is a 6’0,” 210-pounder who hits like a ton of bricks. Smith registered 116-tackles, over his sophomore season, and contributed seven (7) QB-sacks, four (4)-TFLs, 2-FFs, and 2-FRs, one of which he scooped and scored. Knox Central is pleased to have this type talent returning in its defensive second level and we are glad we get to enjoy this cat another two seasons. Enjoy this feature about a kid whose performance made the unbearable heat a tad more bearable and who hopes his performance brings comfort to the home fans around Knox County, KY this upcoming Fall. Let’s keep it comfortable out there, Kentucky, and allow us to help you out in that regard.

April 23, 2025 Fletcher Long 0

I know we just featured this kid, but it isn’t uncommon for us to feature a kid and turn immediately around and send him some protein. Check the historical record. it has been before done. This kid’s achievements in the weight room alone, and the hard work he has put in during his off-seasons, is enough to warrant this type recognition. We are here to encourage and reward these exact type efforts. Enjoy this feature on a kid very deserving of some of the world’s finest beef jerky products and don’t forget to #SavorTheFlavor over there in Somerset, KY.
