Head Football Coach, Brock Roberts, will take on the hot as heck-fire, Atherton Rebels, and its enigmatic, young coach, Anthony White. The two teams are both 8-1 with 5A Atherton enjoying the larger of the two enrollments. Thursday night (September 11, 2025) the Maroons from Madisonville North Hopkins found themselves facing judgement day. What else can a team term facing the defending KHSAA football champion, 4A’s top ranked team, and Kentucky’s 8th best football team regardless of enrollment or classification. The “Mops on Top” made for themselves the best case it could and Markezz Hightower rested his case for Mr. Football. All that is left now is to await the jury’s return and report of its verdict.
