We have been featuring offensive centers on KPGFootball, this week, including featuring the six centers in Kentucky High School football we believe to be the top of the class in their respective classes. Well, if you are looking for a man in the middle getting it done in the trenches, look no further than Cross Plains, Tennessee and the captain of the offensive front at East Robertson High School, 6-1 and 230 pound combo C/DT, Lucas Osborne. Osborne is entering his junior season and his mates and he have just scrimmaged Goodpasture at the East Robertson Jamboree last night. The Indians are coming off an unimpressive season for a program which has been as successful as they in its past. In 2017, the Indians limped through a 4-6 finish. However, with Cameron Swift back at QB and Lucas Osborne leading the way for an offensive front which clear the path for the Indians to gain 2,318 yards on the ground in 2017 while scoring 30 rushing TDs, there’s good reason to expect the Indians, in 2018 will resurge to prominence in 2018.

Congratulations to Lucas Osborne for being selected this week’s Stewart Williams Furniture Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week. Join us next week as we anoint a new recipient.
