We call these the Seven-Eleven. We have identified seven small school players and 11-large school studs all of whom will move the needle considerably this coming Fall. These are the guys who, if they are ’27s, will be in the “Mr. Football” race, and if they are younger will be serious threats for post season accolades. These teams are the teams who will make deep playoff runs, if not win championships, next season too. Enjoy this look at the stars and players who will be drawing much of the ink as in-season coverage commences. Remember from where you first hear this.

We are very pleased to welcome Lasaters Coffee & Tea to our growing family of advertisers. The Kelley family has a very long history in the local football industry and several of the Kelleys have had their numbers retired owing to their familial history of playing excellence. Football has been very good to their family and they look for ways to give back to this very special community. Lasaters is a place one goes to get caffeinated and motivated and couldn’t we all use a bit more of that invigoration in our daily routines. Get by one (1) of our four (4) Christian County, Kentucky locations and enjoy the roasted flavor of a hot cup of warmth and love.

Jayden Travis, TE, from Madisonville-North Hopkins offered by Lindsey Wilson FB and is the Kentucky Comfort Creator of the Week; @LWUfootball, @Maroon_FB_MNHHS, @eCampusdotcom, @Ale8One, @bigassfans, @KyHighFootball, @khsaafootball

Jayden Travis was among our top TEs in the commonwealth of Kentucky at the KHSAA level. We said it all year and this week it was proven by a coaching staff which is certainly in a position to know such things. Lindsay Wilson, a Mid-South Conference and NAIA powerhouse offered a “full ride” to the ’27 TE and member of the 2026 graduation class. We don’t know what he is going to do yet, but thought it certainly was worth winning a Big Ass Fans Kentucky Comfort Creator Award. Enjoy this serial article awarding the Big Ass Fans “Kentucky Comfort Creator” to the big-bodied, athletic superstar.

This football season is over for the Mustangs from Muhlenberg County. The ‘Stangs finished five up and five down, won the last game of the regular season (42-0), and head into the offseason with plenty about which to be excited concerning the direction of the football program, overall. There is talent in the ’28, ’29, and even the ’30 and ’31 classes. We take a look at whom did what down on the farm this season and what is returning for next fall in a tough, six-team, first district (5A) which features Owensboro Senior and Madisonville-North Hopkins at the top vying for supremacy both district-wide and Kentucky-wide. Enjoy.

We have identified in the offseason and leading up to the season’s commencement some star guys we foretold would “break out” this year. We are over half way through (6-8 games in) and bracing for the stretch run before the playoffs and many of these guys are doing exactly what we forecast they would be doing. We are going around the horn and checking in on some of these former predictions just to see how we did and where we are. Join us, won’t you?

Luke DeMoss, an unsung hero about whom we are singing today @markezz_25, @BlueGreyFB, @All_American_Me, @Maroon_FB_MNHHS, @LasatersCoffee, @eCampusdotcom, @bigassfans, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @Ale8One

Luke DeMoss is an unsung hero for the North Hopkins defense and one of the reasons the 5A team is 6-0 and contending for a title this season in the KHSAA. Today, his song is being sung. DeMoss is a nose guard who is also a championship caliber powerlifter and title holder from the heavyweight division at the Kentucky High School “Push-Pull (bench/deadlift) Championships.” DeMoss is also an incredibly hard guy to dig out of the A-gap and forces teams to double him up to get him out of there. The net result is…the Maroons are having a season for the ages. Enjoy this article about a special, young talent who has worked very hard to get where he is.

Get the ball to (Mikey) Hager @fb_phs, @PikevilleHSFB, @hagermikey0, @khsaafootball, @KyHighFootball, @eCampusdotcom, @KatherineL58069, @bigassfans

We are approaching for most teams the fifth or sixth game of the year. District play either started last night or begins for most teams next Friday Night. Point is, it is getting serious. We believe Pikeville is right in the thick of the 1A race, their record (3-3) notwithstanding. The polls around the Bluegrass would indicate we aren’t the only ones. There is something which seems to have worked well all year that the Panthers need to continue (in our opinion). Get the ball to Mikey Hager! He won’t let you down, we certify that as a FACT. The advice is free.
