We started this journey we call Kentucky Prep Gridiron reporting mainly on middle school players. When our initial middle school stars matriculated to high school, we came with them. We don’t cover middle school football as much as we once did but we do cover it. Today, we report on a kid who may be the best 8th-grade QB in the commonwealth of Kentucky. He is darn sure athletic. He is darn sure well developed with room for quite a bit more anatomical development. We continue to feature some of the better QBs in the KHSAA. That being said, there aren’t too many better than Holy Cross’s Jerek Hoover who is 6’0,” 170-pounds, threw for close to two-thousand yards last year while running for another 634, and scored or was responsible for 22-TDs running and throwing. Oh yeah, he sports a 3.7-GPAs. This is a guy who looks very recruitable to us, particularly if your program has a tough admission’s committee to by-pass.
