Brian Crawford is a specimen. He is also about to be a junior. Why did he only get in one varsity game a year ago? We don’t know. I remember a mother telling me when I was coaching that her son was a varsity football player. I told her, “Well Ma’am, he’s playing in a JV game in about a half-hour. If he’s a varsity guy he should stick out like a sore thumb in this JV game.” That is as fair of an indicator as I know. Well, I watched Pavey’s JV film and it appeared obvious to me Pavey is a varsity player. We believe he will show all of us this coming Fall. Enjoy the feature. HB.
