South Warren has some of the best talent rostered anywhere in the KHSAA at any level of competition. This coming year should be no different. The Spartans are 6A, instead of 5A, this season but the argument can be made the trek through 5A on the western end of the commonwealth is at least as daunting as 6A if not a little mores (Louisville excluded). Either way, this Malik Butler is the real-freaking deal. Enjoy this feature about a kid we featured before when he was still playing football at Franklin-Simpson. This kid can do it.

This prospect has a brother named Caden who showed in Western KY’s bowl game, a year ago, he was nothing at which to sneeze. That particular Veltkamp looks to be headed to the portal, or maybe has already shipped out; we don’t know, we cover the high school game. This Veltkamp is a freaking football player and plenty versatile.
