Javion Rivers from Kenwood High School is the Meeks & Meeks attorneys Montgomery County Player of the Week

May 17, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

Not a lot about this prospect as we couldn’t even find his height and weight anywhere on line. Just another example of why what we do at KPGFootball is so vital for these kids. We were able to watch his film and believe he will be back at Kenwood for the Fall of 2019 as he was listed on Kenwood’s 2019 roster and there were several other references to him on line coming back for the Fall season. This is the type of player a new coach can definitely impact and if Les Greer brings to the table the attributes which got him the job, this player may be one of the heaviest beneficiaries. Congratulations to Javion Rivers for being this week’s Meeks & Meeks Attorneys Montgomery County Player of the Week. Join us next week as we crown a new recipient.

@TrentonTuttle2 is the Stewart Williams Company’s Robertson County Player of the Week

May 16, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

We have before awarded this to Trenton Tuttle but after having the opportunity to get to see him at combines over the previous two weekends we were compelled to give it to him another time. This kid is tough, competitive, explosive, and a blue collar type hard worker. We love Trenton Tuttle-types both at Stewart Williams Furniture and at KPGFootball. Join us next week as we select another recipient.

Anias MItchell, from Browning Springs Middle School is this week’s Independence Bank, Revolutionary Player of the Week

May 11, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

In honor of the upcoming Kentucky-Tennessee Future Stars Classic, we thought we would honor a Madisonville area middle schooler. We have already awarded this award to Jordan Miles who made Team Kentucky as a DB. We thought why not award it to Anias MItchell, who is an Alternate and isn’t quite on the team yet but has certainly shown he belongs in unique company when it comes to playing the game of football.

Montgomery Central’s Michael Lobdell (Class of 2020) is the Meeks & Meeks, Montgomery County Player of the Week…

May 3, 2019 Fletcher Long 0

We probably don’t recognize kickers and punters as much as the positions deserve. We have heard it said special team’s is a third of the game of football, but people like Robert R. Neyland attached even more significance to it than that. One thing is certain, nothing gets a team beat any faster than bad special teams’ play. Michael Lobdell is one of the best around and a real weapon for the Indians which is why he is this week’s Meeks & Meeks Montgomery County Player of the Week. Join us next week when we award this to another deserving player from your friends when you really need one, Meeks & Meeks.
